A repeatable dark-store template across the Mumbai region

Dark stores were opening faster than any supplier could fit them out, and each one was a fresh project.

• Every floor plate differed, so every store got its own drawing and production run.

We fixed the picking template first and built a bolted kit that fits any floor plate around it.

• Pick-face heights, golden zone, category order and aisle width held constant at every site.
• Slotted angle and long span components stocked at Bhiwandi, so a new site draws from inventory.
• One drawing set for every install crew. Store teams trained to move shelf heights themselves.
